MC Season Opener Men's Results
CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College men's cross country team opened the 2010 season with a third place finish at the MC Season Opener at Choctaw Trails.  Zak Prevost led the way for MC with an 11th place finish and a time of 17:13.

2010 Cross Country Schedule
CLINTON, MS - Mississippi College Head Coach Butch Ard has released the 2010 cross country schedule which opens with the MC Season Opener on September 1st at 4:30 p.m. at Choctaw Trails.  The women's team is coming off a season where they sent junior Jennifer Cooper to the Southeast Regionals and the National Meet, while the men's team is coming off of a American Southwest Conference Championship in 2010.

GREENSBORO, NC - Sophomore Jennifer Cooper finished seventh individually at the NCAA Southeast Regionals on Saturday, November 14th and qualified for the NCAA Nationals Meet in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, November 21st.  Cooper's finish led the Lady Choctaws to a 13th place team finish.

ASC Cross-Country All-Conference Teams
CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College cross country teams earned several honors in the American Southwest Conference following the championship at Choctaw Trails on Saturday.  Tino Gonzalez was named Freshman of the Year on the men's side while sophomore Jennifer Cooper was named Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year.  Head Coach Butch Ard was named men's and women's Coach of the Year for the season.
